Today, I received a homemade card, cheerios, and a cup of tea in bed...
It was lovely...

I was showered with love all day!

I got to celebrate this day because of 'them', yet it was 'them' who treated me ALL day...

How blessed am I...

I am a very lucky Mom.
I am a very lucky Wife.
I am a very lucky Lady.

Go Big or Go Home...

So.... for the triple crown (a small pun for the horse lovers...,) I decided to go BIG!!!

You see, first it was my Garyn (whom by the way is doing amazingly well on his medicine)
Then it was my Gigi with strep and the 'pukes.'

And just because I didn't feel like that was enough...

I decided over the weekend to have one of my several endometrial cysts rupture, pass a kidney stone, develop a UTI and pretty much feel like SHIT poop for the several days to follow!!!

I could not have gotten through this weekend without my family!!!!!
Thank you Ryan, Thank you Diane and Thank you Mom and Nancy for driving out early to help me!!!  I could not have survived this weekend and week without you!!! Much love...

24 hours

In just a short 24 hours, look how the picture changes...

Poor little princess is battling strep throat.  She has a high fever and can not keep anything down....so as a result, she had to get two shots of Rocephin.  Let's hope the antibiotics kick in fast!!!
We can not be sick next week....We have visitors coming!!!!!

Sibling Love

Garyn's class at school has started a reward program for loving and kind actions.  The children can earn 'play' money when kind and loving actions were witnessed by Miss Cara.  When they have earned enough money, they can buy rewards (made by the students.)   Yesterday, Garyn came home with a picture made by one of his classmates that cost him $.10.  He said he used his money to buy the picture because Gianna would love it! So... this morning when Gigi was laying in bed sick, he brought her the picture to make her feel better.

The other day when I picked Garyn up from school, we were walking to the car and Gigi's shoe fell off.  Immediately Garyn looked at me with disgust.  His look was followed by "Mom, YOU need to get Gianna new shoes!!!  I spent all recess time helping her with her shoes... heavy long huff."
I apologized, thanked him for helping, and was beaming inside..... Gigi's BIG brother took care of her!!!

Gianna woke up sick in the middle of the night.  She has been throwing up, has a fever, and says her throat hurts.  I kept her next to me all night...when I woke up to get Garyn ready for school she was still sleeping...but a few minutes after I was downstairs, she yelled for me.  I ran up to make sure she was okay, and the first thing she wanted...... GARYN!

You are without a doubt the STRONGEST 6 year old I know.  Momma is so proud of you!!  No matter what health challenge you face, you still find a way to laugh!  I love you kiddo!
