Garyn gave her a boost of confidence by reminding her that he would be just 'right up stairs' and he explained all of the rules to her.
We got to school in time for a few pictures:
Then we dropped Garyn off and began our walk to her classroom. Gigi is a very outgoing and talkative little girl, but she was very quiet on our walk downstairs. Unaware that she was biting the side of her lip, she told us she was not worried at all...
She boldly walked in the room and made her way directly to the play kitchen area. Only the most appropriate place for Gigi (if any of you don't already know, Gigi LOVES to eat!)
I fixed her bow
And gave her a kiss good-bye
And then....Ryan and I were all alone!! It seemed strange; the quietness. We took advantage of our alone time and took care of some finances and enjoyed a breakfast at our favorite place, Patachou. And just like that....it was time to pick her up.
She had a great first day. The teachers adore her and the feeling is definitely mutal. She is going to have a great year!!
